Elevation For Tomb Raider Soundtrack

9 Apr 2001
Elevation is now officially confirmed as the next U2 single and is also set to feature on the forthcoming Tomb Raider soundtrack.

Angelina Jolie, who plays Lara Croft in the upcoming Hollywood blockbuster, will feature with U2 in the video for the track.

The band have been shooting the video at Universal Studios in Los Angeles this past weekend with director Joseph Kahn whose credits include Wu Tang Clan's 'Gravel Pit' and Destiny's Child 'Say My Name'.

Elevation is a track that U2 have been playing live almost without fail since the release of the album and is opening the set during the tour. It's the fourth track to be lifted for single release from All That You Can't Leave Behind. Beautiful Day reached No 1 in many countries, Stuck In A Moment was also a worldwide hit while Walk On, only released in Canada so far, also hit the top spot.

Tomb Raider will open in the U.S. in June and in Europe in July.
