'Hands' Wins Nomination of Moviegoers

The Hands That Built America has been nominated for an AOL Moviegoer Award for Best Song. You can vote online now.

The track', commissioned from U2 by director Martin Scorsese for the recently released 'Gangs of New York', won the prestigious Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song last month.

This time it is nominated alongside "Lose Yourself" - Eminem, 8 Mile; "Die Another Day" - Madonna, Die Another Day ;"Black Suits Comin' (Nod Ya Head)" Will Smith, Men In Black 2; and "Hero" - Chad Kroeger featuring Josey Scott, Spider-Man.

Last year 2million film fans voted to make Lord of the Rings the big winner in an awards ceremony which organisers claim 'reflects the voices of actual moviegoers who vote on their favorite films and performances, as well as the most memorable movie moments of 2002.'

This years nominees have already been selected by actual moviegoers through a poll on AOL Movies and Moviefone.com. Now the voting for each category is underway and you can cast your vote now at http://www.moviefone.com.

Voting ends on March 10 and the winners will be announced on March 17.
