Here's To Ronnie Drew... No.1 in Ireland.

7 Mar 2008
'The Ballad Of Ronnie Drew'' has hit the top of the Irish charts. And we've got a cool new video of Edge in the studio during recording.

Appropriately enough the song hits the No.1 spot on 'Daffodil Day', when people in Ireland are showing support for those living with cancer. Profits from the single go to the Irish Cancer Society.

'The Ballad of Ronnie Drew', performed by U2, Kila, The Dubliners and assorted Bowsies also features Glen Hansard of The Frames. And Glen's Oscar winning performance of 'Falling Slowly' with Marketa Irglova, is right behind the Drew tribute at No.2 in the Irish charts.

If you're in Ireland you can also show your support by buying the CD of 'Here's To You Ronnie Drew' or downloading the track from iTunes in Ireland.
