According to the official REM website, Athens' favourite sons may be turning up in Atlanta for the U2 show tonight.



REM are on a promotional jaunt through Europe to talk up their new album Reveal, partly recorded during a long sojourn in Dublin.



The bands' online journal notes that they are aiming to get home in time 'for a concert by a hot band from Dublin in Atlanta. That is certainly motivation.'
