Wow, what a gig!!!
I travelled down to Leixlip on an old double decker bus from Belfast with a few mates. The gig was brilliant and U2 were amazing that day with a massive crowd up from Dublin. Unfortunately the Police came on after U2 and the whole crowd were still chanting for U2 when the Police came on so there set didn't go down very well and they walked off after a few songs! Remember Squeeze (Up the Junction) and the Moondogs from Derry (Who's gonna tell Mary?")

I was there!
An awesome day - travelled from Galway to the festival. still remember it all these years later. Have seen U2 about 25 times since from Phoenix Park, to Skydome Toronto to Hawaii USA and have yet to be disappointed. Fair play to you U2 - another great reason I am proud to be Irish!!! God Bless You.
