'Stories of Surrender' - Were You There?

Was that you in the house for one of those advance screenings of Stories of Surrender?

Anything strange or startling?

Several hundred U2.com subscribers had the chance to attend theatre screenings in the week before 'Stories of Surrender' began streaming on Apple TV+.

If you were one of them  - like those in the video - tell us what it was like below, and post your photos. (Don't forget to mention which city you were in.)

Manchester Apollo
We were lucky enough to have seats in the stalls on Row 2. It was an amazing night where we were fortunate to and listen to Bono, upclose and personal. However he did make an error when he said that U2s first Manchester concert was at the same venue. In fact U2s first Manchester gig was playing support to Wah Heat and Pink Millitary Stands Alone at Manchester Polytechnic, Crawford House venue, which along with around 50 others I fell in love with the band, even though Bono asked my mate in the crowd for a cigarette, which he then crushed up on stage. Stories for Boys was an amazing emotional rollercoaster and allowed Bono to perform on stage in an open, transparent platform and with honesty and integrity. All attendees had to put their mobile phones in a security pouch, so I'm not sure what photos/videos are available to share.
Bad
Manchester- Memorable evening
Was sat directly behind Mike Peters from The Alarm and his wife Jules when Ali brought Mike a handwritten letter from Bono. Brilliant evening, very moving and a great show.

Wow!! Incredible
Bono hasn’t stopped delivering for 50 years now, very heartfelt and incredible journey he let us be a part of. Thank you for lifting me up for all these years and giving me some of the greatest songs ever known to man. Thank you Bono Edge Larry and Adam!

Amazing
An insight into the life of Bono!!! I was amazed how he pulled through his two chambers of the heart when clearly he needed the third for all he's done n gone through. I applaud you Bono n U2 for being real!!!

A great movie
I had the opportunity to be there in Berlin and have since watched the movie again. A great recording of a show that I was able to experience from the front row in 2022, also in Berlin. It was something very special, so close, Bono, U2, impressive as always and yet different. Many thanks for that!

SOS in London
I was one of the lucky ones to see the Screening of SOS in London, Soho. Seeing it in small studio with great sound and visuals was fantastic. I went to see the show in New York in 2023 so it was good to see the show from a different perspective. The wife also enjoyed it very much. I really hope they release the audio of the whole show for download/streaming.
