U2 at Slane Castle This Saturday, And Next

U2's shows at Slane Castle on the next two Saturdays, August 25th and September 1st, will be their first Irish appearances since the PopMart Lansdowne Road concerts in August 1997.

They also mark the twentieth anniversary of U2's only previous appearance at Slane when they supported Thin Lizzy.

Special guests for the first show on Saturday, August 24th are American rockers Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Brit 2001 winners Coldplay and Kelis, and Irish newcomers JJ72 and Relish.

Special guests for the second show are Foo Fighters, Moby, Nelly Furtado, The Walls and Dara.
