Vertigo Is Go Again!

10 Feb 2006
It's been quite a week for U2. On Wednesday the band swept the board at the 2006 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles and now they take the sold-out Vertigo Tour on the final leg of its year long global tour.

Here's our cut-out-and-keep guide to what's been going on - and what's coming up.

This was Grammy night when the band took all five awards they were nominated for including Song of the Year, Album of the Year and Best Rock Album.
'It means a hell of a lot to us.' Said Edge. 'An even more precious gift than the awards is the gift that you've all afforded us to continue to make our music.' Get the lowdown here

Watch the band talk about winning in this very laid back CNN clip.

Taking 'Album of the Year' for How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb was particularly sweet. 'I'm not sure we deserved all of the Grammys,' said Larry. 'But Album of the Year is a special one.' Read why here.

On Sunday in Monterrey, Mexico, the band perform the first of twenty stadium dates which will take them through South America, into Asia, down to New Zealand and Australia and finally back to the US to close the tour.

We'll keep you up to date on set lists, show reports and latest live shots in our Vertigo Tour area.
